Jamie Grooms, the CEO of the Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Pubic Research (here forward, The Institute) may not be known as the successful publicly-funded, Florida-based start-up’s secret weapon, but he should be. A seasoned serial entrepreneur who transitioned to leading two successful companies, Jamie leads a host of business, human resources, financial and scientific advisors at The Institute who are charged with leading nascent companies started at Florida universities or research centers through the “Valley of Death.” This real-world stage is when many start-ups lose velocity and disintegrate under the burden of a poor corporate design, inappropriate funding, improper concept execution, and the myriad traps that mine the path to success. Health care marketing services company picks up 13 Stevie awards overall

 

Jacksonville, Fla. – Winning the Gold Stevie award for sales process of the year, GuideWell Connect, a marketing services company leading innovative solutions in the health care industry, earned 13 awards and was among the top 10 companies worldwide at the 2015 Stevie Awards in Las Vegas. The awards recognize companies from around the world in sales, marketing and customer service, and are coveted by the biggest and best consumer brands from more than 50 countries.

GuideWell Connect also took home two silver and nine bronze awards, out of more than 1,900 nominations, in categories ranging from sales and business development to training and sales process.
