GuideWell is committed to improving health care interoperability that improves health outcomes and increases the focus of value-based care for our members.
In fact, as a member of the Da Vinci Project – a private-sector initiative that is leveraging HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) to improve data via data-sharing test cases – earlier this year we hosted a three-day event where industry developers worked to define a common set of health care data standards that can be implemented on a national basis.
Last month we were honored to be active participants in the Blue Button Developers Conference held at the White House on behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
We will continue to seek out opportunities to serve a leading industry role in developing and implementing data-sharing initiatives that will advance the health and wellbeing of the entire health care industry.
Our next opportunity to help shape the data-sharing conversation will be at the HL7® FHIR® Connectathon 22 that will be held Sept. 14-15, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
