JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sept. 20, 2016 – Announced at the 2016 Annual Meeting of Members of GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation (GuideWell), Maria A. Sastre was elected to serve a three-year term on the GuideWell Board of Directors.
Sastre is President and Chief Operating Officer of Signature Flight Support Corporation, the largest operating business of London-headquartered BBA Aviation plc, where she is responsible for the daily operations of the company’s worldwide network of fixed base operations and maintenance centers. The corporation has grown to become the world’s largest network of Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), with over 200 locations worldwide.
She has served on the GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation board as well as the Florida Blue board of directors since 2015.
In addition to Sastre, Catherine Bessant and Steve Halverson were elected to the Board at today’s meeting.
