An Interview with Renee Finley by Kate Warnock
In our most recent episode of GuideWell Insights, Renee Finley, Vice President of Enterprise Innovation at GuideWell, debriefs our listeners on her active role in two recent health innovation events. She advocated for changes to telemedicine legislation within Florida at the Florida Health Care Affordability Summit, an event hosted by the Associated Industries of Florida Foundation. Renee shared statistical evidence that the consumer market is ready to adopt more convenient, quality care. Soon after, Renee moderated a session on employee wellness programs at the Orlando Business Journal’s Future of Health Care panel. There, Renee mentioned a host of companies affiliated with GuideWell that are offering exciting new employee wellness solutions. Peer Fit helps employees gain access to more flexible gym memberships. HealthHero helps employee wellness programs be more engaging and rewarding. And Tao Connect provides online anxiety and stress management tools.
This week, Renee is excited to attend the prestigious Lake Nona Impact Forum, an exclusive conference that convenes some of the biggest thought leaders in the health industry. GuideWell’s CEO and Chairman, Pat Geraghty, will be presenting on the opening night and will highlight the GuideWell Innovation Center, which promises to be the hub of innovation in Lake Nona’s Medical City. As Renee states, “through events like [the Lake Nona] Impact Forum, we’re understanding the possibilities of this interconnected [health innovation] ecosystem.”
